Our regular guests will know how invaluable a knowledgeable and helpful driver is and how it makes all the difference on a coach holiday. What’s more, a coach driver with real character and personality puts the WOW factor into a holiday or short break.
With our drivers having such a key role to play in the delivery of outstanding service to our guests, it is only right that your feedback provides significant contribution to judging our Driver of the Year award. In addition to this, a range of other driver related skills are taken into account, ensuring the award recognises the drivers who perform to the pinnacle of their profession throughout the season.
This long running award always generates a lot of excitement and competitive spirit amongst our driver team.
With no accidents, no infringements, excellent staff relationships, the winner of driver of the year goes to Kieran.
Kieran is also a north west driver joining us in 2023. Kieran regular tours to his favourite area – Wales – both north and south visiting Llandudno, Criccieth, Porthcawl and Tenby as well as tours to Fort William and Dunoon.
Keep a look out for our Driver of the Year this holiday season. You’ll be able to identify Kieran’s Coach by his Driver of the Year livery!
This award which is given to a driver whose overall scoring was so high, it has placed him in 9th position in the main Driver of the Year competition. His tours this year took him to varied resorts including Eastbourne, Blackpool amongst others around our estate. Unfortunately, he became ill in late November and after a very short period, passed away in December.
This award goes to a driver who quite frankly has re-wrote our thoughts and expectations of what a driver can do in terms of looking after his passengers. Whilst in his first year with us, the time and effort he has put into his time spent with our passengers has resulted in a massive return of positive feedback and individual praise. The award for customer care champion of the year 2025 goes to Steve.
This award goes to a small team working incredibly well together looking after around 10,000 passengers per year. They have achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating, even though they have to work out of two sites and move between both on a daily basis at times, all the while being superbly led by their supervisor Dave, the award for interchange of the year 2025 goes to our team at reading services.
Thank you to all of our customers who wrote in with tales of how your driver went above and beyond to make your holiday a memorable one. This feedback plays a big part on determining our Driver of the Year awards, so keep the letters coming and next year you might see you favourite driver coming out on top!
