The Hotel Regina in Torquay features 67 comfortable bedrooms, offering a peaceful space to unwind after a day of exploring and sightseeing. Many of these rooms boast excellent views of the surrounding area and the scenic waterfront. As for hotel amenities, the Regina Hotel Torquay provides every room with the essentials, including tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, and a Freeview television complete with radio channels. Plus, if you ever need ironing facilities, just head to reception and our team will be happy to help.

Accessibility Information

The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms and due to the historic nature of the building there are many changes of level on the bedroom floors. The Georgian part of the building does not have lift access. There are no facilities for charging mobility scooters. Please ensure you submit a special requirements form if you have any mobility difficulties which may affect your holiday.

Dining at the Regina Hotel is a delight, with a delicious full English breakfast served to your table each morning. Take your pick from delicious options like crispy bacon, rich sausages, fluffy hashbrowns, and eggs your way. Not to mention, a complete selection of fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt. 

 

In the evening, you can enjoy a three course meal featuring countless classic British dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options freshly prepared. To keep things simple, you’ll be given a reserved dining time for the duration of your stay, but if you’d like to alter your time, or if you have dietary requirements, please let our team know and they’ll do their best to accommodate any needs.

 

After dinner, you can head to Hotel Regina’s lively bar and lounge to enjoy drinks, music, and socialising with your fellow travellers, with a spacious dance floor and entertainment scheduled most evenings.

Torquay features a stunning seafront lined by palm trees, with gorgeous gardens and sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. If you’re a fan of a sightseeing stroll, the Regina Hotel lies right on the doorstep of this famous harbour. With just a short walk, you’ll find yourself in a sea of cafes, shops and restaurants, providing plenty of scenic spots to sample local treats. 

 

The Torre Abbey Gardens offer a wonderful escape where you can enjoy a wander through stunning floral displays. Alternatively, you could visit the Princess Theatre – Torquay’s top spot for live entertainment, from touring West End musicals to famous comedy acts. Or if you’d prefer a more relaxed afternoon experiencing local culture, the Torquay Museum showcases some fascinating heritage with a dedicated gallery celebrating Torquay local, Agatha Christie, alongside exhibits detailing the rich history and archaeology of the local area. You can even explore the coastline from the water, with ferry cruises touring surrounding areas, like the historic fishing port of Brixham.
