One of the most famous landmarks in Devon is Dartmoor National Park; a unique place with wild, open moorlands and deep river valleys where you can discover rare wildlife and delve into a rich history. An experience like no other, where you will find Dartmoor ponies roaming freely on its craggy landscape. A picturesque landscape defined by glorious forests, meandering rivers and wetlands. It is like taking a step back in time when exploring Dartmoor National Park; you can discover Valleys with Neolithic tombs, Bronze age stone circles and abandoned famous medieval houses. Excursion Highlights

Dartmouth

We visit Dartmouth, a picturesque river town near the estuary of the Dart, home of the Royal Naval College. Passengers may choose to take a sail on the river upstream towards Totnes (cost not included in tour price). We then return to Torquay via Paignton.

Plymouth & Buckfast Abbey

This historic naval city has a breath-taking harbour and a wealth of attractions including the National Marine Aquarium and the delightful Hoe, the promenade along Plymouth Sound and some excellent shopping. We return via Buckfast Abbey, famous for its tonic wine.

Sidmouth and Exmouth

We journey to East Devon and the elegant resorts of Exmouth and Sidmouth, travelling through Teignmouth and Dawlish. These South Devon towns have been seaside resorts for two centuries. Their Georgian villas are steeped in regency history and serve as a picturesque backdrop to these pretty coastal towns.
