Overview

Bournemouth is superbly situated on the sunny South coast on top of spectacular cliffs which look down upon miles of golden sand. It is probably Britain's most international resort. Stroll through the splendid gardens or browse through the remarkable selection of shops. The town is full of flowers and there are beautifully manicured parks and gardens. The delightful "chines", small valleys in the cliffs, offer shady groves leading to the shore. The Lower Gardens and Central Gardens in particular provide a lush green contrast to the nearby beach. There are many outstanding attractions including museums, an art gallery, two piers and a wealth of evening entertainment ranging from classical music to top name summer shows.

Day 1 - Outward Travel

Day 2 - Full Day Salisbury

Discover the beautiful, medieval city of Salisbury – the city in the countryside. Welcoming visitors since 1227, at its heart is the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, which boasts Britain’s tallest spire – a record it has held since 1561! A traditionally English city, the historic Charter Market takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays plus you’ll find high street stores and charming local traders along the historic streets.

Day 3 - Day at Leisure

Day 4 - Day at leisure & Lord of the Dance 30 Years of Standing Ovations

Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in Bournemouth, a traditional resort known for its wide range of shops and its close proximity to award-winning gardens and golden, Blue Flag beaches. Later, take your seats at Bournemouth Pavilion for Lord of the Dance. This global phenomenon, which redefined Irish dance, returns to the UK for its 30th Anniversary with an exceptional new tour featuring brand-new choreography, striking costumes, state-of-the-art special effects, and cutting edge lighting for an unforgettable experience. Please meet in reception at 6:45pm for your transport to the theatre. The show begins at 7:30pm and finishes at approximately 10:00pm. Return transport to your hotel is included.

Day 5 - Full Day Swanage & Poole Harbour Cruise

We travel through the beautiful countryside of the Isle of Purbeck, beneath the ruins of Corfe Castle to reach the seaside town of Swanage. Renowned for its beautiful beaches, Swanage has a rich history and a variety of attractions and activities to enjoy. We also visit Poole – famous for its deep water harbour and historic waterfront, here we take to the waters enjoying a cruise around the harbour seeing the Sandbanks Peninsula, Studland Bay and Brownsea Island – the birthplace of Scouting and Guiding.

The elegant Norfolk Royale Hotel is centrally located just a few steps from Bournemouth Square and only a short stroll from award winning gardens and golden sand Blue Flag beaches. Offering a very high standard of accommodation, the Norfolk Royale Hotel is the perfect choice for seaside getaways and longer stays. Originally converted from two imposing Victorian Villas, and formerly the home of the Duke of Norfolk, the hotel has been restored to its Edwardian grandeur.
